I have bet on millions of rounds of vingt-et-un. I started working my way into the gambling halls when I was 16. I have enjoyed online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. With all that said I have still spent an abundance of cash at twenty-one. The casinos have made it very hard to defeat the house.
I still enjoy the game and wager on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have played a type of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get rich with this method or defeat the house, still you will have an abundance of fun. This method is based on the fact that blackjack appears to be a game of runs. When you’re hot your hot, and when you are not you’re NOT!
I gamble with basic strategy chemin de fer. When I do not win I bet the table minimum on the successive hand. If I lose again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. As soon as I hit I take the payout paid to me and I bet the original bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the action back down to the original sum.
I am very strict and never back out. It gets very enjoyable on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in sequence your bets go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had great runs a number of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Wynn a few years back with $750 after 20 minutes using this tactic! And a few weeks ago in Vegas I left a table with $1200!
You need to understand that you can relinquish a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be amazed at the runs you notice playing this way. Below is a guide of what you would wager if you continue winning at a $5 table.
Bet $5
Take 5 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 5 dollar wager
Bet $5
Leave 5 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of ten dollar
Wager ten dollar
Take $10 paid to you, leave the first ten dollar wager
Bet $10
Leave $10 paid to you for a total bet of twenty dollar
Wager 20 dollar
Take $20 paid to you, leave the initial 20 dollar wager
Wager twenty dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $40
Wager $40
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $40 bet
Wager 40 dollar
Leave $40 paid to you for a total wager of $80
Bet 80 dollar
Take $80 paid to you, leave the first $80 bet
Bet 80 dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid to you for a total wager of 160 dollar
Bet 160 dollar
Take $160 paid-out to you, leave the original one hundred and 60 dollar wager
If you left at this instance you would be up 3 hundred and 15 dollars !!
It’s hard to go on a run this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you can’t deviate and drop your bet or the final result will not be the same.
