Blackjack is a game that somehow reminds me of a roller coaster. It’s a game that starts out slowly, but gradually picks up the pace. As you ramp up your bankroll, you feel like you are on your way to the top of the coaster and then when you least expect it, the bottom drops out.
black jack is so remarkably like a rollercoaster the similarities are hair-raising. As is the case with the popular fairground experience, your black jack game will peak and things will appear as though they are going well for a time before it bottoms out once again. You must be a bettor who can adjust well to the ups and downs of the game especially given that the game of blackjack is choked full with them.
If you like the tiny coaster, one that doesn’t go too high or fast, then bet small. If you find the only way that you can enjoy the coaster ride is with a much bigger wager, then jump aboard for the ride of your life on the monster coaster. The deep pocket gambler will love the view from the monster wild ride because they are not thinking about the drop as they rush head first to the top of the game.
A win goal and a loss limit works well in blackjack, but very few gamblers adhere to it. In blackjack, if you "get on the rollercoaster" as it is going up, that is just great, but when the cards "go south" and the coaster starts to twist and turn, you had better bail out in a hurry.
If you do not, you will not remember how much you enjoyed life while your bankroll was "up". The only thing you will remember is a lot of uncertainties, a mad ride … your head in the sky. As you are recounting "what ifs", you won’t easily recount how "high up" you went but you will naturally remember that disappointing drop as clear as day.
